Answers before your team starts recording.
Practical details about capture, sharing, billing, exports, translation, and security.
Getting started
Recordable captures workflows and turns them into editable step-by-step guides, browser follow-alongs that highlight what to click or type, and supervised AI runs.
Sign up, start a new workflow, record the process, review the captured steps, then publish when the guide is ready.
Browser workflows can be captured with the browser extension. Desktop and cross-app workflows use the local desktop app.
Free includes 5 guides and one Creator, with AI descriptions and public sharing. Invite unlimited Viewers to read for free. The Creator includes Follow Along; Viewers need an assigned paid or complimentary Follow Along seat. No card is required to start.
Recording and editing
Recordable captures meaningful actions such as clicks, typed input, navigation, screenshots, and cursor position. You can edit or remove steps before publishing.
Yes. You can edit titles and descriptions, reorder steps, delete captures, annotate screenshots, and redact sensitive areas before upload or publication.
AI output is a strong draft for common workflows, but critical processes should still get a human review before publishing.
Re-record the changed flow. Published guides can stay live while the new version is reviewed and released.
Sharing and collaboration
Not to read. Anyone with a shared link can read a guide without an account or a seat. Follow Along, which highlights the next step inside the browser, needs an account and the extension: it is included for Creators, and a Viewer needs an assigned Follow Along seat, paid or complimentary.
Public links are open to anyone with the URL. Private links can use password access or SSO options for sensitive workflows.
A workspace gives creators a shared workflow library. Owners manage members, seats, billing, and settings.
A paid Creator seat is for someone who records, edits, publishes, translates, exports, or runs workflows with AI. People who only read guides can join the workspace as free Viewers, or open a public share link with no account at all. A Viewer who also wants Follow Along needs an assigned Follow Along seat, billed per viewer.
Exports and translation
Paid plans can export workflows to PDF, PowerPoint, Word, and Markdown for training, audits, and handoffs.
Yes. Export templates take your logo, a brand colour, and your choice of typeface and sizes for titles and body text, plus options such as step numbering and image corner style. The same template applies to your document exports.
Request translations per workflow and language. Generated translations can be manually edited and kept with the workflow.
Guides can be translated into English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian and Swedish, one language at a time per workflow, on eligible plans. The interface itself is available in English, French and Dutch.
Billing
When you reach 5 created or imported workflows on Free, you can keep existing workflows but need to free a slot or upgrade to a paid workspace plan to add more.
Pro includes unlimited workflows under fair use, 20K AI credits per Creator each month, exports, reviews and approvals, advanced analytics, and bulk translation. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM, audit controls, and a custom contract.
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades and cancellations follow the current billing period.
Annual billing lowers the monthly creator-seat price compared with monthly billing.
Security and compliance
In the EU by default. Workspace and account data live in a managed Postgres database in Frankfurt; recordings, screenshots and exports live in object storage that defaults to the EU. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and your content is not used to train AI models. A few processors handle data outside the EEA under EU Standard Contractual Clauses; the security page and the subprocessor list have the details.
Not yet. Formal compliance work is in progress, and until an audit is complete Recordable should not be presented as SOC 2 certified. The security page describes the controls in place today, and a Data Processing Addendum is available to every customer.
Yes. Enterprise supports SAML and OIDC single sign-on, optional SSO enforcement for every member, and SCIM directory sync for provisioning and deprovisioning. Share links can also be restricted to approved company domains.
Audit logs track important workspace actions such as workflow updates, sharing changes, exports, translations, member changes, and billing events.
